Варвара Степанова / Varvara Stepanova

She was Rodchenko's wife, but she was not just a 'wife,' she was a talented artist and designer too. They met in Kazan', where they studied and never say good bye since that time. Агитационный Фарфор

The nicest thing about Soviet government was that big part of a budget was given to Contemprorary Arts in the very beginning.
That is happend with porcelain in 20-s, best Russian artists worked on it: Kandinskiy, Malevitch, Chehonin, Suetin, Petrov-Vodkin e.t.c.
It's a brilliant work that still keeps an atmosphear of that time.

Viktor

We all remember Viktor Tsoy as a splendid musician of Russian New Wave scene, but he was an actor too.
Movie named "Igla" by Rashid Nugmanov is a good example of Soviet movie in Perestroyka time. Watch this outstanding film.
And now Viktor is back as an image on t-shirts again!
