Valley Trip #1

In the beginning of march GIRLS FROM OMSK went to Paris to present their fall/winter collection 2010 during the Paris Fashion Week.
For the installation in the gallery we recreated the atmosphere of the Russian summer house called DACHA. This is a place that almost all Russians have. The main idea of DACHA is living near nature in a hot summer period because sleeping in the countryside even attacked by lots of mosquitoes is much better than a dusty city. We collected some stuff and put it all around. Oil paintings, old letters, family photos and even traditional winter boots – Valenki were all part of the installation.
